{私房菜}You've gotta eat like nobody is watching!

(醋漬紫洋蔥)Quick Pickled Red Onions

1.紫洋蔥絲大的半棵(黃洋蔥也ok,但紫色賣像無敵)+1/2匙海鹽,入小盆略抓,醃10分
2.糖3/4匙+孜然1/2匙+茴香籽1/4匙+黑胡椒粒1/2匙,置小碗混拌,倒入洋蔥裡拌勻
3.取1乾淨玻璃罐,填入香料洋蔥絲
4.注入適量蘋果醋到一半瓶身,再以水填至瓶子肩頸處,用筷子拌一拌,充分混合
5.蓋上瓶蓋上下搖晃一下,送入冰箱冷藏,約2日可收成
PS.這次我加了2片新鮮薄檸檬片和新鮮香草,香料黃金組合可隨個人喜好!
此斯風味獨特馨香夠勁,單吃,夾三明治,漢堡,拌麵或配飯,能讓主食的滋味更天開地闊立體起來,
營養成效也因為發酵和醋漬而向上攀升.
1.Mix A ½ large red onions(thinly sliced)with ½ tsp sea salt,set aside for 10 mins.
2.Mix ¾ tsp sugar,½ tsp whole peppercorns & ¼ tsp fennel seeds,1/4tsp cumin seeds.
3.Place onion with spices in a large  bottle.Pour apple cider vinegar about half bottle,
Then,cover with clean water.
4.Cover tightly and shake gently,then store in refrigerator.
It'll be ready for 2 days.
Pickled red onions are not only drop-dead pretty thing I’ve ever seen.
They are awesome when it comes to jazzing up lots of different kinds of foods!

大半時候,人生的冒險的確多少需擔負一定程度的風險,比如事業轉換跑道或決定依靠終生的良人.唯獨在廚房裡,你不必博命演出!只要不是太過奢華食材如松露巧克力或法式酸奶油醬Crème fraîche都好談.而且,總覺得好的料理或食譜跟好伴侶一樣,不會從天而降,喜歡就得勇敢主動出擊!大不了的冒險災難就是勉為其難囫圇吞下肚,真的難以下嚥就全數餵廚餘桶!

Ooooooh goodness..I tell ya.You can bet money on that!
I can see you are thinking I’m a little weird...
The peanut butter is earthy base flavor.The pickles are a combination of sweet & tart,
Maple syrup compliments the saltiness of the peanut butter & Pickles.Mmmmm..Yuummy!


I get it..you’re still looking at me like I’m crazy!
But,I can also feel your curiosity..Give this sandwich a try.
